Dutch royal family was of the House of Orange, in the 1600s the company brought teas to Europe and the best of the black teas was reserved for the royal family. When it  introduced to the public, it became known as the ‘orange’ pekoe, associating it with royalty.

Orange Pekoe is unpredictable, it can be strong, light, malty, sweet, fresh and everything in between.

Green tea from the Chinese region of Yunnan, known as the region of eternal spring, near the border with Vietnam. Made from large rolled-up leaves resulting  from a painstaking drying process which gives just the right amount of smoky flavour. It is a green tea that is different to those generally known, robust, with a great deal of body, astringent nuances and a sweet and smoky aftertaste.

It is a cool and digestive drink. Most of the antioxidants, essential oils and nutrients are concentrated in the plant shoots, so while we enjoy the tea we benefit from these properties.
