  Pure cornflower petals from LattePowder. The blue cornflowers (Centaurea cyanus) grow in cultivation in Germany. After the blooming of the cornflower blossoms, the whole plant is harvested and dried. The drying of the whole plant preserves the bright blue color of the cornflower blossoms. After drying, the stem is removed and only the tubular petals of the cornflower blossoms remain.

  Cornflower blossoms contain anthocyanins (main component: succinyl cyanine), flavanoids and bitter substances.
